This is a comprehensive and regularly updated database of more than 10,000 doctors in Berlin across all specialties. The platform allows you to search for doctors based on specialty, location, and language.

How to Use the Website

Go to the Homepage

• Click on “Start” to begin your search.

• You’ll see a search box with five tabs:

  • Suche nach Fachrichtung (Search by specialty)

  • Therapieschwerpunkt (Search by specific treatment focus)

  • Name (Search by doctor’s name)

  • KOMBI-Suche (combined search options)

  • Erweiterte Suche (advanced search, e.g., by street)

 

Search by Specialty (Suche nach Fachrichtung)

• Under "Fachrichtung – [Bitte wählen Sie aus]", choose your desired medical field, e.g., “Allgemeinmedizin” (General Medicine).
  (A translated list of specialties is attached in the PDF.)

• Optional filters:

  • Choose a Berlin district ("Stadtbezirk"), e.g., Mitte, Tempelhof, or select "Alle Bezirke" to search citywide.

  • Enter a postal code (e.g. 10115).

  • Select your preferred language under “Sprache”.

• You can also adjust:

  • “Suchergebnisse” (number of results shown – optional)

  • “Sortiert nach” (sort by relevance or name – optional)

 

Search by Treatment Focus (Therapieschwerpunkt)

• This section includes a detailed list of very specific medical specializations.

• As the terms can be complex and uncommon, we suggest using deepL.com to look up translations if needed.

 

Search by Name (Name)

• If you already know the doctor's last name ("Nachname"), you can enter it here to find their contact details.

 

Combined or Advanced Search (KOMBI-Suche & Erweiterte Suche)

• These tabs allow you to combine multiple search criteria, such as specialty, language, and location.

 

Emergency Services

• On the left-hand side of the homepage, you’ll find a blue sidebar. Click on “Notdienste” for a list of Berlin’s emergency medical services.
